The
voice you'll hear on the other end of the line and the
hands that work the keyboard and mouse belong to me,
Jim Nixon.
In the past 30 years, I've worked as a magazine editor,
a photographer, a teacher, a marketing and advertising
manager, a writer/designer of patient-education material
and a designer/producer of Web sites and multimedia CD-ROMs.
I bring the benefits of all of those professional experiences
to the work that I do for you.
If you utilize my services, I think you'll find that I'm
a good listener, and a quick learner where your needs
are concerned. My commitment to you is to produce work
of the highest quality...and to deliver that work on time.
Here are two things that govern what I do:
I keep it simple...especially
when it comes to the Web and multimedia.
I'm nowhere near the "bleeding edge" when it
comes to the use of technology...and, most likely, neither
are your clients. Just ask yourself how many times you've
reached a Web site or inserted a CD-ROM and discovered
that you couldn't access the information because you didn't
have the latest plug-in or the latest graphics card or
because your computer wasn't quite new enough. My goal
will always be to help you reach the greatest number of
potential customers in the most user-friendly way
possible.
I won't waste your time or money
creating material that only tells
your customers what you think is important.
Okay, I know that sounds strange at first, but here's
what I mean. You know your products and services better
than anyone else and that can be a problem. It's
often difficult for you to step back and see things from
the customer's perspective. That's where I come in. With
your help, I'll always focus my efforts on providing your
customers with the information they need, and I'll provide
it in a format and in language that they can understand.
I look forward to helping you reach your marketing and
communications goals.
